i am thinking about buying an Acer Aspire One 10.1” 3G Netbook so i can take my turns during the commute to/from work and during my lunch hour.
does anyone use these?
are they too small?
the pros/cons?
any other feedback you have would be great.

I use an Asus Eee PC, and it works great for me. It is about 2-3 years old. I love how compact it is; very easy to travel with.
It was hard to get used to it at first, as I preferred- and still prefer desktops. However, just like you, I wanted to have something I could travel with. I need to log onto CC at least twice a day, to keep up with all my duties as well as games.
Pro's: Lightweight, cute, compact. Will fit into my purse.
Con's: Small keyboard, small screen, small print.
I use a mouse with mine, to make navigation easier. I'd imagine it would be difficult to play CC without a mouse.
I also had to take great advantage of the +/- features which will enlarge or decrease the size of the screen for you.

I play from a laptop, and I also use a mouse. Whenever I use my laptop for a long period of time or if I am doing more than surfing news websites or taking my turns here, I must use a mouse.

Taking turns while driving? That has to break a half a dozen laws right there.

When I play one a laptop with a touch pad, or on a tablet with a touch screen, I find you need to focus more on the body mechanics and being careful then anything else, lest you misdeploy or fort wrong. That being said, it's nice to have the flexibility. I use them both when I need to.

I use an acer while smoking in the garage, works well enough for most things, but it isn't ideal. Glad you got the wireless mouse with yours. Also, I assume you commute on a bus or a train? LOL

both, my place/work is an hour each way and work/kids place & kids/my place is 2+ hours each way. with a battery life of 3 hours i should be fine.
