Is this cheap tactics?

Game 10675938

Just wondering people's opinions on this.

Basically: It's a freestyle game, I watched The Plume slowly taking out L M S's territories one by one obviously about to kill him. When L M S had just two territories left I quickly pressed "b" and killed him and took his 4 cards. I've always considered this part of the freestyle game - and others have tried (and sometimes succeeded!) to pull this stunt on myself. I don't think theres anything cheap about it, but Plume seems unhappy and foed me.

Opinions?

I gladly PRAISE your achievement. If that guy cannot handle freestyle, then why would he join one? You have used all means you got to win. PRAISE!

Freestyle is all about cheap tactics thats what its all about. If they foed you its because they cant handle freestyle its not your fault you played the way your supposed to. I suggest you foe them back

this, freestyle is the cheapest style wins. that's why it's called freestyle.

What does "pressed b" mean. is there some auto-kill-someone-and-take-their-spoils button I did not know about? Does it work on turn 1?
:)
Could it be that the PoD has discovered the true reason for his ineptitude at freestyle?

You sniped his booty with a tactic that only works in freestyle.
Is the "B button" some sort of blitzkrieg?

Yes CC allows me to kill anyone I wish by pressing 'b', it's because I pay them extra and send them cake through the post.

pressing the (b) allows you to begin your turn instead of clicking begin.

And no its not cheap tactics its freestyle

Blocking you for getting to the spoils first is surely a cheap shot.
It's equal to sore losers who block peeps that beat them.

This is why I don't play Freestyle.

It's a valid tactic.

I don't like it... so I choose to not play that style of game.

You utilized the tactics available to you in order to win.

No fault... good planning.
=====

In Escalating games I do things I would not do otherwise... and these aren't considered cheap tactics.

- Waiting for a player to get another card before knocking him out. Which them enables you to run the board.

- Hiding and "protecting" a loan army of a weak player... so that no other player has a chance to knock him out and take his cards.

- Figuring out who to hit based on the number of cards they hold... so you continue to get sets of five and continue to cash in. Thereby allowing you to run the board.

None of these tactics work or make sense in other styles.... but no one considers them "cheap". Why would timing your hits in a Freestyle Game be cheap.

This guy is a bozo.

I don't understand his complain, you beginned the turn 2min after him, you could perfectly do that even without pressing 'b' button

There is nothing cheap about this - I don't suppose the people commenting in this thread play much freestyle with the "best" of the site..

Freestyle is all about watching the board and being able to think quickly and act upon it, it's all in the strategy of playing freestyle.

Nothing cheap here... If you do not like the game mode, do not play it...

Now that you reminded me what it was, the PoD remebres that he does frequently use the "b" button to begin turn, but never considered it to be a cheap tactic. I also sometimes use the "l" button to save spoils for later, but that is a real chep shot. Below-the-belt stuff.

Regarding the pouncing on another persons kill, whether it is cheap shot or not, i guess, is a matter of taste. i.e. whether you like freestyle or not. Personally, the PoD likes to ponder rather than to pounce.

Of course this is a cheap tactic. The whole point of tactics is to minimize cost whilst maximizing efficiency. This hide in the bushes spying, sneaking out and attacking with the objective being the thievery of spoils is just about the definition of a cheap tactic.
