[/list]It is my personal opinion that you can't get as meaningful of information through the current ratting system. I believe there should be a feedback option along with the current ratting system. this would give you the opportunity to show why you gave someone a good or bad ratting rather than 4 general words. it would also deter people from giving one stars across the board for no good reason and likewise for 5 stars.

i miss feed back

feedback was done away with in the hasty pursuit of resource savings. Mods complained the amount of time taken up with investigating feedback abuse was taking up far too much time.

You are correct, it was a far better system. The community did offer to take over this responsibility of dealing with reports of feedback abuse. but this. as with many other ideas. was ignored by the owner and admin.

So instead we have a star system, with all the inherent abuse that brings.

I loved feedback. The complaints did rise quick though. They would need 2 or 3 mods just to deal with that alone. Seems cheap if you ask me for a better system?

feedback was great... and at the time we were told they were going to do something with our existing feedback (what, i can't recall), and of course that did not occur... feedback was far superior to the current system... and as far as mod complaints about monitoring it go, i call bullshit. i was once told that dealing with me took more time than dealing with the rest of the site (rolling my eyes)... anyway, this should be in suggestions, but i don't have the energy to hit the report button right now...-el Jesus negro

This has been brought up many times. Just a killer idea still.

I dont like the idea of going back and this comes from the person with the most positive feedbacks. So many times I needed to get deleted negative feedback because was done out of spite and not honestly.

Thats funny because I never once recieved any negative feedback , perhaps freestyle farming encourages ' spite '

do people not abuse the current system by only giving a very good ratting or a very poor one. Without having to give a good reason for the good or bad ratting.

I think'd it'd be neat to have both systems in place. I don't have anything against the current system and honestly don't care if it changes but I think it'd be cool to experience the feedback thing.

I was told that if owen is willing to fall on the sword to free up the necessary mod time, this can be reinstated later today.

I had some awesome feedback left for me. Was always fun reading through them

Feedback was the mark of a decent person (as much as a decent player).
