Number of deadbeats you've had in a game

Postby dazrazmataz on Mon Apr 09, 2007 2:26 pm

I was wondering if anyone has had as many deadbeats as me in 1 game?
I am playing a 6 player doubles World 2.1 game.
1st round 4 playes didn't play, 1 player plays against me.
2nd round 4 again,
3rd round 3 players got kicked out, 2 players decided to play against me.
4th round, player who missed 2 previous turns misses another. Play against 1 other player
5th round, looks like he's about to miss another turn (3hrs left to make his move)

So I reckon 4 deadbeats by the end of the game. Can anyone beat that?

The url for the game is here: http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=315659#gmtop

I had 4 deadbeats on world map 2.0.

It was not easy to win it after they were kicked out.

That terrible deadbeats

Had 3 in a Classic 6 player game deadbeat after making a round or two of moves. By that stage there were only 2 of us in it. I had Australia other guuy had most of S & N America. There were dozens of grey armies between us in Europe, Africa & Asia! I lost as a result

Arctic map, 6 players, no cards, 2 deadbeats

The two deadbeats gave me an unfair advantage right out of the gates as their neutral armies gave me a buffer zone so that I could quickly take over 2 bonus territories unchallenged. It made me feel kind of dirty to use that to beat two majors and a captain with 1590 points, but that didn't stop me from taking their points

3. 2 of them did not play a single turn, and the other was playing a good game until he suddenly stopped playing.

In a 6 player space game. 4 deadbeated.

I felt srry for the other guy his armies were split up and I had 2 bonuses. It still took 3 rounds to actually get to his men.

2: my two teammates in a triples game. IF they just took 3 turns to get kicked out I might've won, but they had to stretch it out.

Gozar, I looked at your game. That was amazing. It looks like a pain in the ass, but at least you got 111 points out of it.
