Because he came to this site,

(the hardest part from a marketing perspective, to entice someone to come to your website),

joined 3 games and was able to take 0 turns! So he got bored and left to find another gaming site.

lack needs to be like a drug dealer...the first taste is free as to get em hooked and wanting to come back for more.

How does he expect to get a NR hooked if they aren't even able to take a fracking turn?

lol well what do you suggest they do? Make it so they can join a speed game? Would anyone pay enough attention or understand enough about the site to tell the difference between speed games and regular games?

ffs. I had another game that i started up with 3 recruits (only 1 more was needed to complete the game) and I escaped that match. But I'm curious. Does this happen to other people often? Or am I just THAT unlucky?

I'm not one of those people who only plays one map type with one rule set and one play style. It just sounds boring to me lol.

Also - thats a 5 person match.

If anything starting a 6 person would just mean i have to wait 3 weeks for them all to drop out instead of 2.5 weeks.

It was possible in 2007. But not anymore, so your problem is solved!
Also, if you play a more difficult map with 5 players, there also tend to be less New Recruits. It's just that most people come to this website, because they already know the Classic map, if you know what I mean.
