When players are auto-kicked in a terminator game their armies remain on the map, and you can still get points (and cards) from them if you eliminate the deadbeat before the game is over

But are deadbeat cards and points still available in Freestyle games?

Lack was referring to the terminator game type. It's true of all terminator games, whether the play order is freestyle or sequential.

In non-termnator games, when someone deadbeats all his armies become neutral and his cards disappear. You get nothing for conquering all the neutral countries (unless it helps you get a continent bonus). If you win the game, then yes you get the deadbeat's points along with everyone elses (altough if it's a partner game you will have to share with your partner(s)).

Hope this helps.

Yes, thanks for the response.

I meant to type "Standard" games instead of "Freestyle". I appreciate your ability to see through my mistake and clearly answer my question.

Cheers!
