Victor Sullivan wrote:The Conquer Cup is like really hot hot sauce. You pay 5 bucks for the hottest bottle of hot sauce you can find to prove your manly tolerance. There's a slight chance you maintain your cool as you down the bottle of spicy liquid, but odds are you're gonna freak out and cry like a little bitch. Whether you come out with your cool on or not, it's still a fun experience to say "you did it" and a good story to tell the grandchildren one day. User-run tournaments are like an assortment of sauces to sample at a festival, each tasting quite satisfactory with their individual, unique flavors, but it's nothing to get all up in arms about necessarily. Nonetheless, the tastings are free and good.

Isn't that how all non-CC tournaments work? You sign up for a competition, frequently paying an entry fee, and then if you win, you receive a prize. Yet CC should be different?
