Who's Watching the Watchers?

It seems CC has decided not to watch the watchers but to request voluntary action in multi-hunter cases that involve a conflict of interest.

Apparently there was previously an issue or two. http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=56445#p3519389

This does not sound very well thought out to me.

Are you still using dial up for internet? News does travel slowly in your town. That post was made 4 weeks ago.

If another MH asks me to bust someone as a multi I check them out and if I don't think they are a multi I won't make the bust.

Wouldn't "another MH asking you to bust someone as a multi" equate to them "indirectly" doing so? The rule says that won't happen.

yes and no...
I think if the person in the game turns out to be a multi...the easy solution is to wait until the game plays out then bust.
Assuming its a random coincidence...Its what I used to do if someone was a multi in my public games.

Really? A lot of games last a week. You let them keep playing? How the hell is that fair or right? I say bust them as soon as you find them.

The easy solution is for a hunter to check out someone they suspect might be multi BEFORE joining the game.

That would seem to make a lot more sense to me, as well.

Yet, if he busted them as multis in game, then he would get hanged.

If the hunter joined their game and did immediate busts then that obviously is questionable. If the multi joined a game created by team hunter then obviously no issue and the sky wouldn't fall.

That's the point...if he suspects they're multis, he should do the "bust check" PRIOR to joining. For me, it would make sense to do it for anyone who is a ? at that point in time. Then there's no reason for them to be hanged.
