What sort of advice are you after, do you want to start some dubs on your type of maps and invite me and we can work together?

I was really interested in someone just coming into a game with me and telling me why im losing?

Idk if there is something wrong with my attack ratio, i've lost 10 vs 2 (like i lost down to 2 armies left and gave up) or if im not going for the right objectives strategy wise. I've been playing on Holy Roman Empire map (think thats its name) but im open to anything if that map is wrong or whatever

ok had a quick look at that map.

For a start 1 v 1 games are usually determined by the drop and start sometimes you get both and that helps.

The map you are playing is a 15 tert start so if you dont start usually you are always playing catch up as your opponent gets a 5 deploy you get a 4.

I would say in general 1 v 1 is gonna be difficult unless you pick a map which is smaller so you get an even deploy. On the flip side there is always a chance that your opponent will drop a bonus.

It depends what maps you prefer really but there are some with more balanced gameplay.

When you next start a game from scratch, PM me when it starts and i will have a look and let you know my thoughts

You may also want to direct your attention to the SoC training Grounds... lots of people there looking to help people like you that want to learn. Just another resource you can use.

Hey, General Raven! I'm sorry to hear the directions were confusing. If you'd like to give it another go, PM me and I can get you set up.

This is basically how SoC training works:

1. You sign up for the next class and are added to your own Training Field (found under the main SoC Training Grounds forum).

2. You join a game with our settings: SoC Basic Terminator Games and SoC Basic Standard Games

3. In your Training Field, you create a new thread, and then post what you think you should do. SoC teachers will give you advice and feedback, and then, you make your move.

Like I said, PM me if you'd like more instructions. For the long version, you can check out the SoC Guide.

Don't eat yellow snow.

Seriously, join the SOC and stick with it.

As a 3 hour member of SoC, I would agree that the directions were kind of confusing.
