I have played the USApocalypse map and I hate it. One, the features of it are freaked up, and two, it is not a very good map of USA. My question is, what is the story behind USApocalypse? How did the country become like this, and how did the territories get their names? Is it a nuclear holocaust or a robonic revolution happening? What is the damn storyline? This map better have some sense to it!

Ummm... have you tried googling the Apocolypse?

It's named USApocolypse for a reason.

Also, maybe you could search the map foundry and read the thread where it was created.

I like it. It has big bonuses that are easy enough to hold. Plus creates opportunity fir unique strategies!

I also like it and have won the majortiy of my games played on it. Unfortunately, I seem to be one of few as I see very few USApocalypse games around.

It's one of my favorite maps. I rather enjoy it. I, too, seem to be one of the few.

I see it as a problematic map, one too many times I landed on 1 irradiated territory while some other players had a radiation nexus on the first turn. Starting locations are too luck-dependent for my taste.
Of course, on doubles or triples it becomes less crucial so maybe it fits better in those kind of games.

It works well in 2v2 doubles, where you can manipulate the rad zones to your advantage. It's poor in 6 player singles though.

I won my first singles game on it. Still, you really have to get a good draw on the radiation zones to win.

I like how somebody mentioned their dislike for luck-dependency on Conquer Club.

hahaha
