Has a non-premium member ever made it to the rank of general? All of the different posts im seeing lately show that it requires a hell of alot of games to overcome the weird 8-1 ratio for wins over losses at the top of the scoreboard...I consider myself a pretty damn good player and im aiming for the general rank but i dont know if its possible to get there as a non-premium member...And for the hell of it i think Dugccar1 sucks ass too

your poll is slightly misleading. Its impossible but I doubt it has ever happened and It would be very hard. You would have to play for several years

2 players have topped 3000 in under 200 games.
If you choose to play all escalating games then the average game will only last about 7-10 turns. And if you choose to play freestyle the avg game will last about a week.

So 4 games a week x 52 weeks = 208 games

And if you are really good, you'll win a higher ratio and become a general in less time. So sure it is possible....

Do you know who the two players are Robinette?

I agree. Of course you can make it to generall. It will jsut take a little more time. But since you only have 4 games you can play and focus in you should do it much faster then if youplay alot of games (counted in number of games)

Good point.... qeee1 comes to mind, has a real shot to become a general with the least games... and as time goes on, it should take less and less to achieve the same. Point inflation, don't 'cha know?

NUKE is the current record holder at 191 games
And you my clever friend, are #3 at 235 games...
