I have a question about this map. Is Hawaii part of Oceania? Do I have to conquer it to get the bonus? Please, it's important for a game that I'm playing

Yes, Hawaii is a part of Oceania indeed.

Yes it is a part of Oceania, in the same way that NewZealand is a part of Oceania.

A good tool to start using is the map tester:

and the maps themselves, including xml which defines the continents for you:

it is part of oceania but not the east indies so you have to weigh up if it is worth going for that extra 2 bonus.

Great advice. The map xml is pretty easy to decipher, just open it up in an editor and search for the country you have a question about. You can probably figure out the answer from the context.

The Map Analyzer is also an excellent tool, although you can now get the benefit of the Map Analyzer in actual games if you are using stocksr's Conquer Club - Roberts Mods greasemokey script. Simply move the cursor over a country on a map and it will highlight all the adjacent countries you can attack from there.

You can get the .4 release of the script from this post:

Yep, that's why Oceania blows. Hawaii is damn near impossible to hold considering that you need to hold 3 other spots and there are typically a ton of armies on both Taiwan and Mexico as both of those are major borders that protect.

Oceania: 13 countries/4 borders to defend/ 9 bonus armies
South America + Mexico and Central America:
17 countries/3 borders to defend/ 11 bonus armies

Even if you're lucky enough to hold it, you only get 2 armies per turn per border as opposed to nearly 4
