Waiting Time For Tournies

If this is better placed in the tourny seaction then apologies but wasn't sure whether I should post a general tourny question there.

I'm organising my first tourny (yay! ). I've got 29 entries and require somewhere between 32 and 64. 64 + reserves would be ideal but not essential.

My question is this - I set up the tourny on Tuesday (March 27th), how long should I leave it open for people to join? Want to get the balance right between getting as many entries as possible but not leaving it open too long that people drift away.

It will be a relatively short knockout tourny with a maxium of 5 games if you get to the final.

Any thoughts?

I've found that people are quite patient when it comes to tourny's, If you just keep people informed and let them know the tourny is still going ahead by posting regular in the forum you should get your 64+. I also suppose a lot comes down to how patient you are, as it's your first tourny you will be wanting to get it underway.

Is this a tester for the school one that you hope to organise ?
