how can i have a medal removed?

can i have a medal removed or do i have to shut my account down and start again under a different name?

whom do i contact about having it removed? i should have not been awarded it, so i don't want it showing on my profile.

Hmm, I haven't seen this question before. But if it's a tournament or general achievement, I'd try to contact the person that issued the medal, if they can't I'd try to contact that department head.

Trust me I'm a doctor.

I've had several patients in A&E with this kind of problem.

Of course this has usually been a gerbil, hamster, even a chipmunk once!

But people have been in with Hoover parts, "lost" vegetation and the like. You are not alone!

Go to your local hospital, they are trained professionals, they will help you. In complete confidence, so your friends will never know.

Good luck! Hope it don't hurt too much.

You earned the medal, you deserve it, therefore I can't see any reason why you would not want it,

Also, don't create a 2nd account as that is against the site rules and will result in both accounts being banned.

well i think that its a very simple operation from MODs.
I get general achivement medal for
"For having made a memorable contribution to the Conquer Club Foundry"
Everyone here have right to decline medal,if they belive that its not fair decision to get.
Ofcourse i whas ,and im still against decision that classic art map have 6 medal recipient, because these is big insult on mine work in map foundry, and in protest i demand removal of mine medal, and these procedure whas extreme super fast implemented, and they remove mine general achivement medal.(they respect me so much-)
You need to contact CD,and i belive that these guys are fair people who are going to help you, and urge mods to remove yours medal.

smegal. you cannot quit an account. so do not create a 2nd account for any reasons, or you might just find yourself without any account.

smeg, just pretend it's not there! ;-)
otherwise if you really want it removed you know that asking a CD directly would give you more chances to get the job done than asking random CC players..

what do you want removed and why? who issued it and when? I'll see to it that it gets removed as an exception. Every rule should have its own exception..

The respective mod who issued it, and it that does not satisfy you, you can send in an e-ticket to have it relooked at.
I got a pm from various people's, so it seem it has something to do with clanwars. If that is the case, there is an objective and subjective element to the awarding of medals. And it goes 2 ways. I have been denied medals because i did not qualify in hindsight to rules that were not active when i started a clanwar. Basicly you need to meet objective criteria to qualify. Once you do, you get the medal, unless there is some other reason not to hand it out, this last part is up to the judgement of the respective clanwar mods. If you disagree with the judgement of a mod, any mod, you can send in an e-ticket to state your case. please do not be brief thee in your explanation.

i think that is in short what you need to know.
My personal observation would be, that if you qualify objectivly, and feel you should not have been awarded it to you, then that is akin to asking for a penalty in the C&A, but if you truly feel strongly about it, i wish you good luck.

SirSebstar

Are you talking about the 200 maps celebration? It was very clearly stated that if you find all 25 differences that you will get 2 medals.

as i understand it, it is about a clanwar, for which some due to their behaviour did not merit a medal, and some others got the medal

These is something wrong here??
smeagal are you read what i wrote.
I get medal for noteworthy contribution in map foundry, then i feel that i dont deserve these medal(reasons dont want to repeat),and i demand removal, and they remove very fast, so i can not understand why in your case they can not (actualy more look that they dont want to remove, again play gods, deciding who can and who can not get medal) remove medal.
Case its very simple-you feel that you dont deserve medal, ask hem to remove, and they remove.
Everything its possibile, only need to have good person in MOD position.
I can only say thanks to Thenobodies, who find good person in MOD position, who remove imediatly after mine demand.
Maybe you should try to speak with thenobodies, and maybe he can help ,so that everybody be satisfy.
If some mod only say "NO!", these is not ok behaviour from these person, who need to do in best interest of bouth side, not to look only one side.
Remove medal its easy, just need to find good mod who want to do that.

As stated before, you can't close/quit an account and start a new one. This will only get both accounts banned.

As far as medals go, if it's the clan war medals you're wanting removed. You'll need to contact chemefreak and ask him about removal.

If chemefreak denies your request to remove the medals, then I'd suggest sending a PM to king achilles with the details of why you want the medals removed, and exactly which ones you want removed. Be sure to mention that you've already contacted chemefreak and he won't remove them.

Honestly though, it's a medal on your wall. Does it really matter that much?

If it matter to him, then it matters. It's all about perception. In real life, if someone wants to make a statement by refusing an honour -- for example when George C. Scott refused his Oscar for Patton -- we don't send someone over to staple it to their forehead.

But the mods would rather spend ten times as much time writing responses, threatening him and denying to remove the stupid medal than give him the satisfaction of being treated the same as a few of his friends. I wouldn't be surprised if they gave him a second medal just to piss him off more.

I've already given information on how to properly resolve the situation. Simply send a PM to king achilles with the related information
