why do i have to share points in a win when my so called partner was booted out of the game for non appearing. where is the fairness in that.

That happened to me too. My partner deadbeated, and at the end of the game I wondered why they got points too.
But then I remembered that if he didn't get booted out from deadbeating, then I wouldn't of gotten extra territories, or more armies.

Sure, you can. But it is advised to go into any team game with players you know.
Then you will be very well aware if hes a potential deadbeat and you will have to suffer his lack of dedication

Straying a bit from the posted topic, but not much... I understand the formula for calculating points in the singles games, but how are doubles points calculated? Do you take the average scores of the team players and use the same {loser / winner * 20} formula? I didn't see this in the game rules section of the web site.

yeah...you add the scores do the formula, and then split the points...
