missed turns

There is a game i am playing currently that the guy has missed 4 turns ,SO FAR, and he is still active. WTF is that about. I am seriously annoyed with this dip . He beadbeated when we had a good and fast rt going , missed a turn thought he was gone so we started to play thinking he ran away crying..then he comes back and play's again. So we attack him. he then misses another 2 yes 2 turns.. so thinking this guy is gone we continue to fight amongst ourselves , (btw the game is classic flat rate and his army's that were left on the board would have seriously hurt the remaining players to commit armys to killing off an opponent that was apparently gone) , So after missing now 3 turns the f*ck comes back plays and now has missed another turn...This ass has totlay made this game very unplayable and I cannot figure out how he is still playing after missing 4 turns. This guy found a loophole in the deadbeat elimination rule and should have a great big DB branded on his forehead. Mabe this is an issue for flame wars or mabe not but i am now forced to commit armys to kill a guy that doesn't have a clue about what fair play is . I am royally PISSED at this ass licker. He should be shot at dawn.
sincerely 1 pissed off guy.

You have to miss 3 turns consecutively to deadbeat.
He didn't find a loophole, thats just how the mechanics of the game work.

alright it may be the macnics of how it works , i will grant you that , he should still be shot at dawn. This is very messed up and it looks like he is doing it again. I have managed to kill off some of his armys , but i have seriously weakened myself because of the forced kill. This is a loophole as far as i can see ...I guess he saw it first...lol

In this game of mine, Israel has missed a total of 7 rounds and is winning now.
I wish that the dice mechanics can be made to penalise players for missing rounds.
For example, player returns to play after two missed rounds, and attacker rolls 6, 4 and 2 against defender rolls 5 and 1.
Results; first dice 6-2=4, second dice 4-2=2 and lastly, 2-2=1(smallest number) against 5 and 1.
Therefore, attacker loses 1 army and defender loses 1 army.
Note: If player returns to play after one missed round then substract 1 should suffice.

In my oppinion players who miss their turns shouldn't get their bonus armies for missed turns simple as that.

The story remains the same. The site managers will not amend the rules on missed turns because this would discourage deadbeats from joining CC. Deadbeat or not, they still bring in membership dues. Unfortunately, this sucks for us.

I read Lack saying 37% of those who join, deadbeat after taking one turn or no turns at all. These people wil not be taking a premium membership so there is no gain. I had three in a six player terminator game, it was painfully slow.

I think that when a player misses a turn the rest of the players should work together on their next go to either eliminate or seriously weaken the player. This will make them think twice about doing it again.

Well, it's not that simple, because there are sometimes things beyond the players' control. But the dice penalizing thing sounds good. You should bring that up in the Suggestions forum.

i think that there should be a armies penalty for missed turns. For example, if you miss a 3rd NON Consecutive turn, u only get 1.5 or 2.5 of your allocated armies. For example:
1st missed turn, 2x
2nd missed turn, 2x if non consec, 3x if consec
3rd missed turn, 1.5 if non consec, 2.5 if consec
4th missed turn, 1.5 if non consec, 2 if consec
What u think?

I say 0 points. If you can't log in for 2 minutes once a day, too bad.
