If you use the game finder, I'm sure you could find the longest game quite easily.

Edit: Yep, in about 1 minute I found this game.

I noticed they mostly happen with experienced players. Is there a reason for that?

Yes, noobs do bad moves that waste the game, giving the victory to someone :D

Or the experienced players are too worried about points to make a risky move.

You decide.

There are some games which seem to have gone into an abyss... they might exist in another dimension into perpetuity thereby making them the longest games ever.

Try using the game finder to find game numbers:

- 11
- 111
- 1111

But game numbers 1 and 11111 are there... is it a programming thing or didn't lack delete these games? or do they exist in a parallel universe?

Somehow, it seems to me that not doing anything risky is a risk in itself, but ah well.

good players prioritize winning the game.

poorer players focus on improving their situation. often this costs them the overall game. i see this a lot more in the big world map.

Yep, we're some mad players.

And think of the three that have had that game in the "games you've been eliminated in" since then :D

What's the deal with missing turns? I thought once you missed your third turn of the game, you were out. Is it just consecutive turns, then? I see that one of the players has missed something like 30 turns in that game ...

Unfortunately, yes. A player may miss as many turns as he wishes; as long as he does not miss three consecutive turns he will not be kicked out for missing turns.

We have a World 2.0/2.1 game going on, round 52 right now, and there is only one captain in the game, the rest are all lower players. 5 days short of a month it has been going on.
