I used to play a lot of 8 man games and I got up to colonel. Most of them were 8 man classic esc fog, but now I find I just plain suck at them. Always been better than 1v1 games. My main problem is that I dunno when to attack. Every time I play I either attack at the wrong time or something. How do you know when's the right time to take out a player? Also, the players troops are almost always all over the place. Now I prefer 8 man in WWII Poland where each player is in one position and it is easy to take him out. Doesn't work in classic. Any tips? Thanks in advance

Pick a player who you can see most of his territories. Then build up stacks around him, taking cards all the while. When he has less troops than the spoils will be worth, take him out.
This is basically the SoC for Dummies handbook lol

And if this fails wait for the poor sucker that thinks he can wipe the board but leaves you 1 army to kill and 5 cards to pick up....
then wipe the board

Maybe try wthout fog so you can see what the helll is going on. Then its easier to know when to attack.

Yeah. With fog was more lucky, I had quite a number of games on those and it brought me up to colonel... Oh well the winning streak is over. Thanks anywho
