Not counting beta maps and maps just out of beta!

I do not have the stats handy, but i guess you could do a quick search for each map and see what the game finder gives back as a result if you really want to know.

A QUICK search of 180 maps ? Will do after I run a 30 minute Marathon seb !

except for the beta maps, Northwest Passage has the least number of active and finished games: 1005. but considering it is 129 days old that amasses to an average of 7.79 games per day.

if you take that average into account, then Northwest Passage ranks somewhere in the last 25% of the maps; with the least played being Rail Africa which has 2180 games but they're spread over 579 days. that means 3.76 games per day.

A more appropriate question would be "what map has the least amount of games played per day"

Best guess is Cricket.

Cricket isn't long out of beta, no? Also, I bet it's been played more than you expect...

Its been out about 11 months and has 2600 games about. So about 7 games each day

That is true ! Rail Africa someone said, that makes sense in a way since rail maps are pretty hated although I like them. Africa figures to get fewer games played than Europe, US and Australia! I've actually played all of those maps! Would've thought some other less unique map would get the call! btw Classic gets about 1000 games played on it a day lol ! I wonder which map is ranked second!? I know doodle earth gets silly many games played per day!!

The number of games/day doesn't tell the whole truth wrt. popularity.

Some maps take longer to play, some maps are quick and easy... that should be taken in account.

actually i think it does show a form of popularity. nemely how often does it get picked. It does not say how it is rated, but it gets a lot of play. Maps that take longer should not matter in the equation, except that i expect they will be chosen less then smaller maps in general.
It should really group maps in, type and amount of terits to see what maps excell over others in the same league..

It was an idea a few years ago for a tourney when there was only 100 maps but now theirs 200
