How many PM's have admin sent?

More than is possible for the mind to calculate.. i would say within excess of 100 million, and that isn't being generous

I made a brief calculation from the scoreboard and the first 30 pages contains about 100 000 medals. the next 20 pages only contains about 12 000 medals so medal total from active players is around 110 000 - 120 000. So it's not 100's of millions of PM but about 1 million. CC has been around for about 5.6 years. Which means about 500 PM's a day is being sent out to players by Admin. I guess I've sort of answered my own question lol! Would be awesome if someone within the site could have a look at how many PM's a day Adminautomatically sends out but I realize that might be a bit much to ask!

I think you're still missing quite a few PM sources

I get a grand total of 233172 regular medals issued, the others are usually done by individuals (e.g. the tournament medals are issued by the TD's.)

Lol yes you're right but I don't know how you got it to 233 172 medals because I looked at the same source and found 158 334 medals. A bit more than I originally got it to manually but not much. It seems I under calculated the number of medals from players that are no longer active a bit. Btw what reasons does Admin send PM's apart from the welcoming, the first game, the first rating and medals?

i used the medal issued, not the person recieving it: medals.php
2323197 it is now by the way.. so it seems i miscounted or 5 persons got a medal in the time between the 2 msg's.
And the scoreboard only shows people who have played in the last 30 days, so many persons will not be shown up on the board, hence the missing medals..
As to what other pm's are being sent, i do not know.

you alos recieve a pm;

whenever a speedgame starts (so thats 628 just for me)
if someone replies on your thread (if you choose that option)
and maybe even some more ways to get pms from admin?

Lol I make a lot of mistakes today not just in posts but in games as well unfortunately.

Ok, 14547 speed games have been issued so that's 1 PM per game.
It's harder to estimate the total number of PM's sent due to replies on threads because there isn't any stat on that. I didn't think you could get a PM for that since I've never received one myself but then again I haven't chosen that option either. Depending on how many actually use that service we could get a lot of different numbers. None thread PM's though is in the neighborhood of 1-2 million PM's.

ps, the notify me option i think gives you an email, not a pm. Can anybody verify this? I at least get emails, but that may be due to my settings.

Also welcome PMs for new recruits have not always been around as far as I know. I dont recall ever getting any...

Ok it looks like I counted medals instead of searching for amount of games lol! Didn't I say everything's a mess today? It's good that I have you to correct me !

I have also got a pm back in 2008 from admin about the 2 speedgames that were given out, its the oldest admin post i have saved. I used to have more, but apparently i am somehow 30 old pm's lighter... wierd, i could have sworn i had saved the admins at least...
Most of my convos with admins was with individuals,not the admin account... However it is save to say the total amount of pm is easely over 10 million. It must be automated because what a job it would otherwise be ...lol

so all speed games * (players - 1) = number of messages for speed games.

so in a 4 player game, that's 3 PMs. in a 8 player game it's 7 PMs

I think I turned it off after the first couple of games. Depending on how many players have done like me we can get a lot of different numbers!

i have received more than my share... but back when Twill was running the boat and Lack was still around, i would receive pm's fairly regularly (not all bans and warnings)... i miss the Twill days...-0

I assume the pm's from twill were sent from theTwill account? and not from the admin account, because thats what the OP is referring too.
