PMs andquotes

High just two questions can anyone please help me. Why do some pms get sent imediatley and others stay in the out box? Is it to do with the settings of the recipient? Sometimes I send a message and it goes and another time to the same person it does not. Also when making a post how do you quote from the thread. (If I am in the wrong forum sorry)
Many Thanks in advance

If it's in the Outbox, the recipient has not opened it. To quote in a thread, use the button Quote in the top right corner, next to the triangle with the exclamation point.

If you want to manually quote, do this without spaces:

[quote="quotename" ]Their quote here[ /quote]

A mod will probs come around to move this to Q&A subforum, but to answer your Q's:
- Pm's move to your sent box when they've been viewed by any of the recipients, so you know if it's still in your outbox that it hasn't been read yet. You can then also still edit it while it's in the outbox until it gets read and moves.
- When replying I assume you go to the bottom of the page to the 'Post reply' button? When quoting there's a similar button on the top right of the message you want to quote which you can click to perform that function (next to the persons avy as well)
