This would subtly indicate that your mom has passed away, thus stimulating a sympathy response from the thread viewers.
However most flame war veterans would view that as a weakness, and push on with blatant disregard for your feelings so they could collect your tears....your sweet delicious tears....

Having a separate location for posting trolling remarks and ignorant comments
was a failed experiment on this site. It became the smelly residual smeg pot for
all the stupid stuff that had to be moved by mods, as players used it as an excuse
to post flames all over these forums.

The flamers inability to contain themselves to that forum created more work
for the mods who had to deal with finding and relocating all that bs.

When the Flame Forum was eventually extinguished someone created a new site.
A place where vitriolic users could go post flames all day long. Unfortunately that
new found freedom was a bore and floundering in it's own immature content...
expired of monotony.

Qomedy Qlub (or Wut?) was an attempt. It was an attempt at a "free forum"...essentially no moderation, no boundaries. It's still open, but pretty dead.

We blame Victor Sullivan for that.

I think the trouble is that its harder for a private forum to keep itself going than a public one. You can only make so many 'haha this would never be allowed in off topics' type threads before people just run out of shit to post. There still are some really good threads in both QQ and Community College. its just tough for a limited number of posters to keep coming up with decent creative ideas on a consistant basis.
