Players like Maggot have gotten a score of 1 before, which is the lowest possible in CC.

in the past, people went to 1 on purpose, because of the formula that decides how much point you get per win.

((loser's score / winner's score) * 20) when the winners score is 1 and the loser score is 1000 for example (a quite normal score) a player would get 20.000 points for a single win. this is off course outrageous and therefore there's now a limit on 100 points.

probably not, but at least a very high amount that made someone go from 1 point to conqueror rank at the least.

never happened.
Gibbon was the first and the last player to catapult to conqueror rank from one game only and that was because he won a Battle Royale (br) with many many players and a standard setting. This cannot happen anymore since all BR's are terminator setting now.
This means that being at a low rank can net you more points per game vs a high ranker, but it will only make sure you reach your equilibrium that much faster. winning a string of games in a row now does you no good since it means that the first lost after that series will also take a great amount of points away of you since you are now also high ranked. in short, playing around to become a low ranker and catapult yourself into high ranks is not feasable.

Not all BR's are terminator, most are but about 10-20% are standard.

Also depending on the coding of the scoreboard it might be possible to get lower than 1, you would just have to play with high ranking teammates and lose. For example, a team of 1,2000,2000,2000 scores plays a team of 1000,1000,1000,1000 would mean that if the first team lost they would lose around 30 points. Also if a person with 1 point played another person with really low points, less than 20, they would lose points if they lost. This would only work if lack didn't set a min score of 1 which may very well be the case.

Correct. I remember reading a game log where a guy won 0 points from winning a 1v1.

That could be the case even if he didnt set the lower limit to 1 just because it rounds and he could have won .49 and thus 0 points
