Wondering why this very biased piece of social commentary was locked. Whilst the author obviously has very strong feelings about the subject. My flame sensors where not set off. The author expressed opinions, and offered suggestions.

To think you the one and only Hellenic Canine have sunk so low that knee jerk reactions give you headspins.

Am eagerly awaiting your detailed and well thought out explanation in this thread.

I would have called you the Bogan Diety. But "Divinity" works as well. I also googled "Bogan" and found out it's Australian slang for an individual who is recognize as being from a lower class background. So, after that research, perhaps "Proletariat Diety" works best.

In any event, you want an explanation. I admittedly thought it was abundantly clear that the original post by the always-entertaining Mr. Changsha was the beginning of what could have been a nice little feud (or flame war to use the internet-appropriate term). I have put it up for discussion to the other moderators as to whether this will be the case, but I thought it more prudent to lock it first. So I suppose your next question is, "Why did you lock it first, Adonis-like dog?" Because the thread may (and in my opinion likely will) engender some sort of response from the clan at which the post was directed, I thought it best to prevent anyone from posting again in that thread. Thus, I've not only saved myself from additional work, but I've saved members of the community from potential disciplinary action.

If a moderator discussion reveals no issues with the thread, it may be unlocked.

Yes...I like that. Don't give the poor wretches a chance to fight back. Here I am claiming that the monkeys have set up a clan purely for the purposes of being admired, flattered and generally fondled by the unwashed masses ('tis true btw) and you slap a lock on the thing before they can rally their forces. You could be seen to be on my side...allowing me a rapier like thrust before shielding me from the response.

Of course the other way of looking at it is that you feel those poor monkeys (probably fattened and slow from all the worship they've been receiving) would get an absolute whooping at my hand, and are thus protecting them from my wrath.

Thanks for the prompt and well thought out reply Alpha Hound. Bogans are in american terms white trash/trailor trash I guess. Wear short shorts so you can see the package, flip flops, singlets, hair style is generally a mullet etc. There is also a Bogan Moth, the moths very infrequently swarm in plague proportions and on a few occasions have pretty much shut down Sydney. Pesky little fuckers get into pretty much everything, air con units don't work that well when their intakes are full of moths. Uber geeks who study pesky insects love the fact that since white settlement of Australia the moths have changed colour to better blend into urban environments(white settlement 1788). Bogans are the last free tribe in the western world, unashamedly tactless, classless, with inbuilt bullshit detectors, an almost spiritual love for hair metal and old school rock, I drive a ute(pick up), I listen to white snake and def leppard, and I'm not apologizing to anyone.

Back to topic..... I doubt very much that flaming is going on, baiting maybe? But then there was no mention of bananas, the usual bait when fishing for monkeys.

You most likely went through somebody's profile to get the usergroup link instead of through the ucp. It's similar to how the game finder search link in the address-bar usually ends in 'find' instead of the page to which your search refers.

With regards to the rest of your post, I think baiting is the most succinct explanation for what your thread was about.

What a terrible statement here from Leehar. The subject of my thread isn't 'baiting', it is challenging the monkeys on the purpose of their spankademy. Which is a valid point. That an 'entertainment contributor' chooses to shit all over it because, as usual, I choose to make my case with a few jokes, attacks and general nipple tweaks...woof!... says more about this 'entertainment contributor' than it does about my thread!

Oh no! Mr Changsha is actually expressing a controversial opinion about a clan! Run for the hills!

It is not baiting to suggest to these poor members of the Spankademy should consider actually joining a proper clan, rather than waste their time making clapper et al feel special about themselves. I contend that most of them aren't good enough to play for the primates proper, in which case the whole thing has been set up so that a few monkeys can get their pleasure from lording it over a bunch of players who would be far better to join a lower-ranked clan.

As of now the peanut gallery is very dissapointed in the preemptive lock of the said thread, and allowing us the opportuniny to possibly earn forum bans would be greatly appreciated.
