What's your worst slump ever?

I'm currently in mine, as in the space of the last month, I've steadily gone from around 2000 points to around 1400 points with no sign of this downward slide stopping. I mean, I've bounced from 1800 to 2000 and back down to 1800 again in a week before, but this has just been a steady, slow, miserable slump into the depths of the ranks of the stripes. I was seriously thinking of not renewing my premium, as I can't see any light at the end of this tunnel of oblivion, but I did it anyway.

Tell me I'm not the only one....

Don't worry. I've had the same problem before. I was at colonel once, and over the course of a couple of months I think I lost about 1000 points.

If you are in a slump I'd love to play you

I don't fluxuate that much anymore since I mostly play team games and the occassional tourney/standard/terminator games. My slumps consist of losing 9 or 10 in row and dropping 200-300 points Staying between 25-30 games is the best way for me to stay steady or gain points. I'll lose focus and it becomes a chore to play if I go over.

Another good way to bust a slump-stay off CC for 23 and a half hours and then hit your games.

I went on vacation, was 2420 +/- and steadily dropped to 1450. I've slowly (very slowly) climbed back up to 2k.

Yes, whatever you do, do NOT keep creating 1vs1 speed games. It may be tempting, but resist the urge, The Voice. Resist!

600 points in two weeks is my worst about a month ago. I'm still trying to recover from it.

Gaining points is like building muscles.

Both take time and hard work, and it is much easier to lose them than gain them.

I once started the day at 2750 points and by the end was at 1465! Damn doodle crack addiction! So i played normal games to get back up to 2500 plus, then blamm lost another 500 points in one day one doodle crack! Overall i am minus 9000 points on doodle assassins but they are so fun!

I don't have slumps all that much becuase I've never broken past the stripes.

major to sergeant, in like 3 weeks.

Don't know what all the fuss is about no 1v1 games to gain points... I start out last week as sgt. 1st class around 1450 after a 300 point slump, and have been steadily creating 5 1v1 games on my "good" maps over and over again... close to reaching major again. Go for it.

Yea, don't worry joshy, happens to all of us. I've only played 300 or so games, yet there was a day I dropped from 1900 to 1350...literally over 24 hours... and it wasn't because I lost 1v1s or speed matches... for some odd reason, every match I was going to lose waited until that day and then finished all at once. It took me a week or so to recover, and little by little I'm on my way up. Luck will change!

You can go as high as colonel by playing 1x1 sequential games, but that's it.

My worst slump (which is my current one) is my drop from 4300ish to 3800ish, a 500-point slump.

I am currently in one of my worst slumps, at least I have the company of my TeamMates---we've had some unlucky games recently. Hopefully this will turn around. I think I'll also play a few 1vs1 to get my score back up to something more respectable.

I have the worst freemium slump around here, losing around 200 points on two separate occasions, both of them involving the St.Patrick's map.

I've been on a steady cycle between sgt 1st class and mid. major rank for a few months. I'm made the drop from major to sgt 1st class 4 times, every time over less than 48 hours.

I kept my score pretty consistently around 3400-3500 last year. I had some tough times in real life and started using speed games as a distraction. In about 2 weeks I dropped from 3500ish to a little less than 2000! I am now working on getting it all back, should be there before too long!
