your target deadbeats then you get their target then your new target deadbeats is it possable for the new target to have you?
what if everyone deadbeats? do you win without killing anyone?

I would hope lack coded the assassin games to include no simple loops... i.e., in a 4 person game you wouldn't have 1>2, 2>1, 3>4 and 4>3 for target selection. The loop needs to include all the players, one circle.

You're probably correct about it including all the players in one circle. But there's still a part of the original question unanswered. What happens when all but one player deadbeats? At that point does he inherit himself as a target from the last player to deadbeat? Does he have to kill himself in order to win the game? If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it does it still make a noise?

i guess what should happen is that when there is a single live player remaining in the game he automatically wins.

Maybe if all the players but one deadbeat in a game, the game just sits there and waits for the last player to deadbeat too! :) Then the game takes all the points of all the players in the game and divides that number by zero. We all know what happens then...

possible answers...and its probably been answered

1...you win automatically

2. no one wins like in terminator...except that as lack explains below...that doesnt happen...so...refer to answer one....

3. eventually the player wont dissapear after deadbeating and you have to kill him still....this could create some interesting situations

Here are the the official answers:

* You can't be your won target, the targets are assigned in one big loop.

* If everyone deadbeats in any type of game, the last deadbeat wins. When the are more than one people being auto-kicked in the same round, it auto-kicks in order of the player list.

so how easy is it to figure out who is going after you?

It's the person below you in the list - if there is no-one below you then it's the person at the top... (As we're talking assassin it's single so I won't go into team games)

Surely it can't be that easy, part of the skill is working out who is each players target.

it's not that easy - my target in an assassin game was player 6, and I was player 2. Player 1 had player 3.

yeti, aphockey meant who has you for their target. The answer is... you just have to figure it out.

Although that usually isn't too hard. In my first assassin game I had worked out all the targets after a couple of rounds but I found it interesting - in one round everybody played their cards (escalating) and went all out to win in one round for fear of one of the other players winning - great stuff! :D
