I would like to see how many people think the dice are rigged.

If the dice are rigged, they are only rigged to be as random as possible.

What would be the purpose of rigging the dice? What's to be gained from that? Cui bono?

If people really feel the dice are ruining their strategies and taking all the fun out of the game, then may I suggest that this may not be the game for them.

Chess and Go I believe are games without any luck involved. The anti-dice crowd might feel better playing at those sites.

Shouldn't the people who believe the dice are rigged have any burden of proof?

I don't think when somone loses out on a 16 v 1 attack that that is ipso facto proof that the dice are rigged. Rather I think they have just witnessed a statistically rare event, but one that could be predicted by probability theory. I know we have statisticians on this site, maybe one of them would be willing to compute the odds of that happening. Then considering the number of rolls here at CC every day, we could say we would expect such an event to happen 5 or 6 times every day.

The chess computer at RedHotPawn never gives me the color I want and need. I feel like the RHP computer is in cahoots with the dice computer here at CC.

The problem is that the dice here are as random as random can be.. they are computer generated. Throwing dice is not 100% random. The position of the die in your hand, the throw, the surface it lands on, do you roll free on a table or in a box top, do you bank or corner the dice... a person can cause non-randomness in the dice.

Conquer Club doesn't cheat... you and your friends playing with real dice do! :p

Why would they be "rigged". Do the dice care who wins? I doubt it. Silly, silly kids who think they are "rigged"
