ur in a 1vs 1 and you have very bad dice?

well, dices are importan in all player option, you can have great strategy,you can have big advantage in troops, but dices say last word.

Dice come and go. Use that end assault button before the game tells you "you cannot make any additional attacks" or whatever that message is. Unless you are ok with the outcome don't use auto assault. Using the plain assault button you can stop well before you are completely dice-screwed. Just be smart the dice will turn around if not then it wasn't meant to be.

Really? There are so many on CC that claims drop/dice is only like 10% of the game. That it's all skill.

To the op if your 1v1 record is horrible try different size of games or different maps. Find ya a reliable partner and play some dubs too.You'll find the place that CC has scripted you to be.

the dice are an arbitrary character who likes to screw around with people's games. There's nothing you can really do about it except telepathically control the dice's minds and roll yourself some virtual sixes while causing the dice to show up 1's on the defenders side. Same goes for defending. Telepathically command the dice to roll high numbers. It's all about who has the strongest mental power to control the dice.
there's nothing you can do about it really, except read up about random.org, which is where the dice rolls originate form.

Actually that would've been at least a 5v3. Since he lost 1 and still was able to throw with 3 dice.

Anyway, just keep playing. If you play a lot you'll lose a lot because of bad dice, win a lot because of good dice, but strategy will make a difference.

Generally, the best way to win is to cut your losses. If you're attacking a 5v3 for example, and lose a roll and are down to 3... don't keep going. Give it a rest, and wait for a turn. You're better off not getting a spoil for a round and have the opponent break his teeth on your 3 then attempting a 3v3, and either winning with barely anything left or losing and leaving yourself wide open.

Just keep in mind dice odds, and you'll be fine.

Scatter the board with 2s if you have sufficient troops unless you're in an escalating game.

Also an excellent strategy. Use the bad dice to your advantage I do the 2s when my own dice are bad - let the opponent roll instead of you

Luck (the dice) is maybe 20% of the game. That doesn't mean that its 25% in one particular game. Its 25% overall.

You happen to be in a particular game where luck seems to be 70% of that particular game. Luck seems to run in streaks so just take your lumps this time and wait for better luck next time.

you play city mogul. or a map where dice do not have such a large bearing on the final result

Just because you don't understand probability is no reason to diss the dice odds.

Make sure that you are praying to the real dice gods, not one of the phony ones that have been invented by all the other cultures that were chosen by the real gods to be losers. For some reason, being American helps curry the dice gods' favor.
