LAME

so, here i am, doing the best i can to make ends meet. Im chillin in an AoR2 game on my last territ.... nuclear spoils.... terminator.... and go figure I have my own territory AND a set! Hallelujah glory days!! so, with my happy dagger, i off myself. Now, CC Rulebook, this is where things get fuzzy. Let me sample the rules for how the point system works...

[bThe points to be awarded is calculated as (loser's score / winner's score) * 20, up to a maximum of 100 points from each opponent][/b]

in terminator, the loser is considered the eliminatee, and the eliminator is the winner.

Now that means my score should go, from the loser perspective, ((my score/my score)*20)*-1.

This is -20.

From winner's... (my score/my score)*20)*-1.

This is + 20.

So it should be: Paddy the Cat loses 20 points.
Paddy the cat gains 20 points.

But, be still my heart... THE WINNER GOT 'EM.

BOOOOOOO!!

What lameness... the rules say i break even booooooooooo!!

Oh well. Of course I'm not totally serious, but I DO in all honesty think it should be this way. And I should also get a unique kill ^_^

What does the community think?? anyone else ever have the pleasure of a CC suicide, the legal way??

And the game... Game 8959687

^_^

suicide is illegal. you may have had no other choice then to eliminate yourself, so I'm not accusing you, but you don't profit from suicide and CC wants you to know it. And the log says neutral player eliminated you because the nuclear spoils are controlled by neutral player and he eliminates people with nuclear spoils. I completely made the underlined part up
So, suicide is not the way to go in CC or in real life. Next time be more careful :)

You don't deserve points for losing. Otherwise alot would do it on Terminator.

But may I suggest a fairly new user group?

Go Nuke Yourself!

Your post made me chuckle appreciatively. However, committing suicide doesn't pay, not on real life insurance policies and not on CC. But I like your scary, twisted, little mnd.

I did that in a game... I thought it was cool and figured I save myself some points, until it was a low rank who won the game, and I lost 40 points... I like the idea that if you can nuke yourself to elimination you should come out of that game with 0 points... in Terminator that is.

Meh, nuclear is a pretty useless game type anyway.

well... people who lose terminator games get points all the time, right? id agree if this was a standard game.. . but no one killed me and i didnt deadbeat. I killed me. That means I get my points (and lose them). ;)

Also, thanks for the sick usergroup lol.

hey someone agrees! woo! i think it actually makes logical, mathematically sense to break even. Apparently there's some sort of code of morality blah blah suicide blah blah... i dont know i dont really follow. I figured I'd svaed points too CAUSE IT SHOULD BE THAT WAY! :D

I like smart ass ideas. So you get my approval. I agree that kills on yourself in terminator should not give someone else points.

I heard somewhere that suicide is painless. And it brings on many changes.

So take that FWIW.

squishyg wrote:However, committing suicide doesn't pay, not on real life insurance policies and not on CC.

umm, well... actually, most life policies will pay if the policy has been in effect for over 2 years... and if not, they must return all the premium... but i am in no way whatsoever endorsing suicide in CC or real life.

squishyg wrote:But I like your scary, twisted, little mind.

indeed... and kudo's to Paddy for thinking of it first... too bad it didn't pay off... actually, i would have thought it would collapse the CC servers, and possibly even cascaded into a temporary shut down of the entire world wide web :o

If I join a nuclear game, I will forget I'm playing nuclear within 3 turns.

Never offed myself, though. I feel you deserve some kind of special medal. Like a good special, not a bad special. Well, a little bit bad special; you did kill yourself, but mostly good.
