i recently played a 1vs1 classic game and it lasted 18 rounds
Game 8875202 with these settings

anybody know whats the record with the same settings and map for 1vs1
i know im not close to the record just curious

if you think that's long, try standard, automatic, sequential, no spoils, adjacent, foggy
I think these are the theoretical settings that most easily to long games.

I do not, and I'm not sure if there is an easy way to find this out! I don't imagine it would be too long, though, as 1v1 usually implies very quick gameplay.

at a rough guess, I'd put a guesstimate for the longest 1v1 game to be around 200 rounds. On classic though? Probably 80ish...

Hive games are the worst...

This is exactly the reason why Classic is my least favorite map, it stalemates way too easily and you end up wasting waaayyy too much time on one game. It seems that the number of armies in a stack at borders is reversely exponential to the size of the testicles of whoever is playing. BORING.
Anyway you could easily artificially extend the rounds of a game so any record would be sort of meaningless.

I have yet to see a 1vs1 game where there is a standoff... normally one side or the wother will dominate pretty soon. games taking over a year will only be found with more players, oR by intention

Games by intention are always amazing to watch. Like that game where they got the maximum amoutn of cards...that's just a feat within itself....

although games where the winner is known, so to speak, and the rest throw the game are not fine with the C&A mods... Still I saw that game and it was wow..

1v1, public, finished, Classic games... there are 1,119,590 of them. That's 11,960 pages of games. I went through the first 15 and found just three over 20 rounds.

Game 471462 - 23 rounds
Game 476931 - 26 rounds
Game 477003 - 24 rounds

Tried to go in the middle of the pack, but the game finder crapped out on me

My mistake, ur right 1v1 does not apply to what I said, I think I was tired...
I still stand by my statement about artificially extending a game however.

i just did and it froze up my internet browser and I had to close and restore last browsing sesssion.... seriously, that log is so long my RAM won't hold it all!

May I suggest a better browser? I use chrome and it only took a couple secs to load entire log and private memory on that tab is only 154980k.
