Hey people,

I'm trying to find a way to have myself be alerted by a audio notification when a speedgame fills.
Now, it is possible to have an email sent to you when a casual game starts. I could have my e-mail application play sound when such an email arrives, however, with speedgames, it is not possible to send an e-mail.
It only notifies you though PM.

You see, I sometimes play gametypes that won't easily start, so I tend to play another computergame in the meanwhile, obviously ending up missing my turns when the game starts. I simply need an audio reminder when my CC game starts.

Has anybody else encountered, or possibly even solved this problem? Perhaps one could make a plugin that notifies you by sound?

Hm... the thing is, for a plugin like that to work, you would need to be refreshing the CC page to get the information when a speed game begins. So if your speed game starts while you are doing something other than being on CC it wouldn't work anyway...

maybe just something that makes a sound every 4 and half mins to check then, or is that to annoying?

Version 1.7.0 of Speed Turns will do this

For everybody out there with the problem I had, or anybody who wants to know if it's his turn without having to log onto CC, or for anyone who likes to be auto-logged-in to CC, so, EVERYBODY, I very much urge you to install the script SirSebstar linked to (right above here).

And of course you can suggest things to, or thank chipv, who works on the script, in here

Most of my speed games are freestyle, so I never seem to have that problem since I've trained myself to constantly be alert whilst playing them.
