Seeing as i've had no life since i found this site, I read through many of the forums and such. I sometimes look through high ranked games to see some new strategies etc. so I've seen how and who many of the upper rankers play. I realize Blitz is in first by far, and is very talented, but also plays mainly dubs and trips against a lot of noobs nowadays, seeing that if he played colonels and lost, he would still lose a crap load of points. Understood. But not judging by rank alone, who do you think is the best player on this site? My top three picks would have to be qeee1, Robinette, and Bretzsky. Your picks?

Me, Cynthia, and The Elf . I honestly don't know who the best on the site is. But I do know that thomas isn't very good.

i'm a Hitman so i can only kill a few people at a time, not entire battalions

I have enever played him. But qeee1 is very very good.

I only played blitz once, way back when I was a noob, and got slaughtered.

Played bretzsky in a doubles game maybe 2 months ago and got slaughtered.

I'm in a game now with qeee, but it's only like round 3, so we'll see how that goes.

I've never had the good fortune to find myself in a game with Robinette.

But clearly all four are amazing players.

The two guys who've been giving me fits recently are maniacmath and cyberdaniel. I'd say of my last ten singles games, one or the other has won like 8 of them. Those bastards are freakin' LETHAL. I've also had really brutal games against osujacket and mepps. And when it comes to doubles, if the guys sitting across from you are bushwackers, then you're probably going to be waving bye-bye to some points by about round 4.

But when it comes down to it, most anyone who has the wherewithal to compete successfully in colonel, or even elite games, has serious skills. Then it becomes an 'any given sunday' sort of proposition.

Thanks guys, but I'm off my game lately, been busy/distracted in real life. Might take a break from here for a while.

Bretzky and Scorba impressed me, not saying they're the best players out there, just that they've impressed me, which doesn't happen very often.

but it should be a 6 player std esc game,
so they should all bring thier best multi into the game with them...

Hrm...I'm pretty sure you've got to be one of the most brutal singles players here, qeee1. Definitely worthy of a top nod, I think.

My vote for best player goes to hendy.

He has a score of 1248 after only 440 games!

i hav to nominate marv as being a top player. he doesn't focus entirely on doubles and plays regular games against the clan who are of major/colonel rank mainly. he is still almost a general!

I agree with Sully800 on the names above, I would also add osujacket and rl_ornage and perhaps zaw right up there as well.

It is difficult to say if your just saying singles or multi-faceted in a variety of games? But, agreed Sully, very difficult to argue with those names.
