Hey, have you ever played a game, where you thought for sure one person would win, but suddenly, someone else did?

Game 6800723

Canada, 6 player escalating. I was down to 2 territories... the one guy almost got me there, but failed by an inch... then I cashed a set for 50 troops and proceeded to win the game.

Every time I lose it's unbelievable.

I got spoils, eliminated the strongest player, got his spoils. Then couple turns later, kearnan takes out all but 1 ONE of my territories down in Australia, and then i got spoils and quenched him. This game was awesome, and also my first win

I was playing a six player game and it was down to three people. The green player had almost the entire board, then he deadbeated

I am also looking for a map where I won a flat rate game when i was down to only 1 country, but the game seems to be missing.

Actually, the only reason I don't win games is because of the dice. If we removed the luck factor, I'd be Conquerer.

We made a comeback in NS game when we have lost both gen pop and yard. Half of the victory is still a mystery to me.

starting turn 7 it seems the winning team got more troops a turn. well done

I don't know the game number, but it was an 8 person escalating game on World 2.1. I was already out (the first to go!), but the highest ranked player (I believe a colonel) was down to one territory, had a three card set he cashed, killed a 5-card set player, and then went on to win the game. That was the most unbelievable win I've seen.

My most unbelievable win was also escalating, but a triples game. I was the only player left on my team and came back to win the game. That was definitely fun, but also nerve wracking.

But with escalating you know this can happen as long as you survive and get cards. Have you seen it before with no cards or flat rate?

This is true.

I have not seen such an "unbelievable" win in a flat rate or no card game. What I have noticed is that the initial leader rarely wins (and if he/she does, it's because the other players aren't playing the game correctly). The winner in a flat rate or no card game is typically the person that is second or third best or the person who does not spend armies taking out the leader.

One more NS - Game 5733713. Were 30 armies behind and down on bonuses but some miraculous moves gave us a thin straw of hope which we didn't hesitate to use.

The "most unbelievable" game I've had was in a speed double, I had 1 territ with 1 guy, my partner had Oceania but they were still getting a larger deployment. I somehow survived two rounds of 6v1 and my partner was able to do some shit and get the win.

No spoils, btw.

I seem to have lost a game on the old now none existent lord of the rings map. I got down to 1 country, flat rate and managed to get the rest to attack eachother and ignore me. and i came back and i won the game..epic.

They had me and my partner down to 3 territories, they never eliminated him because he didn't have spoils and we win the game

Triples game they eliminated both of my partners, one of whom we had been stacking on. i came back and won the game. still not sure how.
