It says in the legend that the Missle Bases reset to 17 neutral; WHEN exactly do they do this? after one full round? Example: Red goes, then there are 3 more players....red has x armies left on a missle base - does that revert to neutral as red starts his next turn?? Help!

at the start of the turn if the player still holds that country. So yes, when red starts his turn, those troops will go boom and be replaced by 15 neutrals...

Well, if a player owns a territory and starts a turn, it will be reverted. So if anyone else takes it over after red, it will take longer until it is reverted.

if it remains neutral (has a neutral 1) it will not reset until a player holds it for one round, just like the missile head in arms race

shocked points to a very handy tactic here where you can reduce the troops standing on an auto-neutral (like the missile base) to say 1 without taking the country. If you did not actually take the country, then the numbers standing on the country would stay reduced, thus they would not increase at the start of your turn. a country will ONLY revert to its normal neutral state with all troops mentioned if someone holds it at the start of their turn. if nobody holds it, it wont increase the troops back

Yes, but in lunar war, it's not usually smart to whittle down troops on the missile bases in advance - unless you have the base firmly secured from all sides, so you're sure your enemy can't storm the base. On the other hand, this is a good tactic in a team game where you can "pave the way" for your teammate... but again, the same disclaimer stands - don't let your enemy near that base.

remember, if you whittle away troops on the base for your teammate. good work, otherwise you might just whittle away troops.. of your own and your enemy wil either take your down or take that base..
other then that, good tactic, sensibele
