Fog Games - Please Clarify.

I am not looking for opinions here, only CC's official view.

To clarify, in a fog game is it a legitimate tactic to use propoganda? Propoganda meaning, eother providing made up position information and/or accurate information to co-ordonate attacks or to incite others to attack an opponent?

Some players feel that you cannot, even although other players, and some times even the player providing the propoganda may not know if the information he is providing is accurate.

Using propoganda does not break any of the game rules (as long it is there for all to see), infact, clearly helps to co-ordinate attacks as mentioned in Rule 2;

Any form of diplomatic discussion between opponents must be posted in the game chat in English or in a language that all opponents understand. Diplomacy includes, but is not limited to: proposing truces, negotiating alliances, and coordinating assaults.

Please advise.

yes.
here is a recent quote of our multi hunter, it shows that CC will consider these actions to not violate the site rules.

Can you omit the part about foeing the player and leaving him negative feedback?.

This confuses the matter and makes other players beleive there is something wrong with doing it, why should CC encourage players to foe someone and give them negative feedback when that player is playing entirely within the rules. As I think it makes the game more fun to have chat of this nature I do not want CC to encourage players to foe me and leave me negative feedback when I always play within the rules?

Please advise, and thanks for the clarification and help to date.

We make sure that users know that they can use the tools they have at hand---Foes List and Ratings---when they come across game play that is personally disagreeable but not against the website's rules.

Evil Semp didn't encourage it.

Here is the link to the thread that post came from:

viewtopic.php?f=239&t=135231

The topic creator very clearly had an issue with the player's practice of revealing fog info. Evil Semp didn't say, "You should definitely foe that guy. I would," he simply offered it as an option if the topic creator so wished.

Would it be possible to put a clarification on rule 2, something at the end like :

(Providing information and/or mis-information in fog games for the purposes of co-ordinating/ inciting attacks is an acceptable strategy)
