Opponent Kicked Out

How come when an opponent in a doubles game is kicked out for missing turns, his teammate gets not only all his guys and territories, but all his spoils as well?

The reasoning behind that setup is that if the troops would go neutral, the other player on the team (who, assuming random partners, has no control whatsoever over the flaking of his partner) would not stand a chance at all. With this setup, the team will miss three turns of income from the flaking player, and will be playing with a player less, but still stand a chance.

Victor Sullivan and Woodruff please leave the baiting and trolling and each other alone. Do not come in here unless you have some relevant information to share.
As to your question motley lue, the other team is already in a huge disadvantage compared to your team, just like MichealSableheast wrote.. There is often no real benefit to deadbeating, but just sometimes this really turns the tables. Please rate your opponant accordingly so everybody can know what kind of player the deadbeater is. Also in the players profile there is an Attendance record. if it is way below 99 that players misses lots of turns, you might reconsider player against such a player.
