I'm new here and never claimed to have a great strategy. I win some and lose more. But over the few weeks that I've played, I don't think I've come across someone like I played tonight. Early on, the guy posts "you are very very bad". I take a small lead in regions and troops and the insults start to continue, all having something to do with me being lucky, but a poor player. I ask what he means and he continues to respond "you are very very bad but lucky". I actually asked the guy what strategy he would have used in my position...no response.. Are most Spaniards here such poor losers?

In response to "are most spaniards here such poor losers", no, not at all, the majority of people you will find on here are pretty respectful. There are always bad apples in every barrel. Don't worry about it, keep on playing and having fun, try and ignore the few run ins you get with the inevitable rude people.

People sometimes say I have a shitty strategy. And usually I agree because I don't really care about what I'm doing when I play (unless it's a team game) and I don't really care what they think of me.

I think you should use hacking tools and skillz you can find or develop online... then hack this person's computer.

After that you can steal their identity and ruin their credit. Or if they were really really mean you can find out where they live and hunt them down and kill them.

That's probably the best way to handle it.

IMHO, I think ignoring it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

You had the first turn with a bonus and he managed to get himself a bonus of 4, which you only broke, because you had a 10-set at 3 cards.
You have to give it to the Spaniard, you were really lucky. But if you don't like what he's saying, then just foe him. You've probably played plenty of games with enjoyable people.

I wouldn't call you a 'very bad' player, but I do think you can learn some more about the game. Perhaps the Society of Cooks would be something for you, they have a learning programm there.

I do not think he was that rude.He may have been stating the obvious.I don't know,because you haven't posted the game number and I have no intention of searching for it.
I have played with some really rude players once or twice.We have a foe list where theses people reside.
The society of cooks is a much better place to ask about strategy.I'd put you right in a game if you asked me,but most players would not.

Thanks for the advice. I think the winner is "ignore and move on" and I'll also try to the society of cooks thing. A close second is "best way is to foe hem."

I was not arguing that I got a bit lucky at times, I was complaining about the repeated "you are very very bad" comments from the grammar-challenged Spaniard. Not really necessary, especially for a new player. No sweat though.

Hmmmmmm, You apparently don't remember me, but I remember you. This is a game. It's for fun... And when I had premium, I was much higher level... I deadbeated when I quit, and dropped drastically...
