He came through the 15 neutral with too few armies--I think he did it a few times actually. I didn't post the game number because I just wanted to show the amazing first turn. I think I have seen something similar one other time. Personally I would never even try it.

i see sometimes people destroying me in ww2 poland taking PAF round 1 and round 2 im doomed.. but the chanses of succeeding with it doesnt really hold up if you play a couple of hundred games.. or 10 for that matter.. or 2..

but yes things like that happends, but sound strategy prevailed over god-dice even in that game..

While impressive it cant compete with that classic game where someone took all but a few regions of the other player in round one. I think they had something like 4 regions in a 1 vs 1 on their first turn.

I've seen an AoM game that was simply ridiculous. Someone starting and dropping around 25 armies in round 1 to the other guy's 3.

I know one time I got to drop in a manual game--then I looked and it was over--I never got a turn to attack.

SOMETIMES...not ALL the time. Still not an argument about randomness. The dice are far too streaky and unbalanced. It shouldn't hard to realize that this is the truth. I have seen far too many games like this. Why is it so hard to believe that maybe its time to reevaluate the change in the dice system?

Dude, there've been millions and millions of games played. You can't look at a couple of preposterous outliers waaaaay out at the uncrowded end of the bell-curve and use them as proof that the dice are fucked up.
