Anyone been really annoyed in such a situation? This happens mainly in rt and team games, where the chat is used a lot. I mean, if you know there's another player online, like your teammate, or other rt players who are bound to be there, surely the common sense thing to do is check the chat every once in a while in your turn?

What happens in rt for example, is that some other player ends up dominating and I propose a sensible alliance. But this player ends up attacking me or another guy we need to cooperate with, because he didn't check the chat before playing his turn.

It makes me think some people are blind when I hop on to a freestyle team game and light my turn up as playing, yelling "yoo-hoo!" to my teammate who doesn't respond until he's wasted his troops and it's too late.

I played a couple of freestyle games in which every second counted and there really wasn't time for checking the chat.

In team games, however, it's a different situation of course.

So far I've found that's more of an excuse to ignore the advice or help.
