Nope. The script only works on the map in the current tab. If you press B in one tab, it will look for the Begin Turn button on that page and "press" it if it finds it. This sounds like a neat idea though. If you haven't already, I would make a suggestion in the Tech forums :)

I actually suggested this a while ago and it was denied because people should be playing games not computers.

That is true, those who have the knowledge, might be able to create a software or script that could run or start the game for them thus creating an unfair advantage against all others who dont.

Yepp. Look through my posts and you may find mention of such a script.

Its been done and used many times already as well as other tactics such as the book holding the "b" button down

Also, anyone with a second computer can simply either press b on that one and continue to play.

Ive also found players supposedly watching utube while pushing the button for hours straight, which can be done easily enough. I myself have certainly pressed b for a long time while doing something else, or watching TV, and dont feel one bit bad about it as long as Im at the computer, hitting the b with my finger either.

If youre playing freestyle, you have to assume some will do this and find ways around physically sitting there, some more benign forms than others of course, with the actual programs being the most blatant unquestionably cheating.

Well at least some games that are played on free style require first strike in order to have an upper advantage against your opponent. Such as speed games, or more critical 24 hour based turns, where someone could just take their turn 6 hours later, when the other might be offline or asleep.
