Does any one know how exactly the points won/lost are worked out. I no it depends on score but what is the exact ratio/formula used?

This is from the how to play section
The points to be awarded is calculated as (loser's score / winner's score ) * 20
so loser score divided by the winners score then multiply that by 20
Hope this helps.

oh ok thanks people, especially moz since he got there first, oh so in theory if you went into minus points you'd keep losing points even if you win,

actually you would gain points...
-100/1000 = -.1
-.1*20=-2
-100
minus -2 = -98
however, if you win....
you would end up at -102....which would officially suck.
sooooooo if you go to negative points, just start losing a lot

He's saying you would lose points if you won. That minus would become addition.
edit: yea, you got it

On the other hand, if you can make it to zero points exactly, then the next time you finish a game, France will explode. 'Strewth.
