Not sure but it did the same thing 8 days ago, a few more answers would be nice this time. Is it possible to make it so when the site crashes the game clock freezes? then the site being out for 65 minutes wouldn't disadvantage players trying too take there turn at the time.

More than likely there was a problem with the server. Don't think it's really possible to freeze the clocks.

problem with the server? Yeah.. looks like the problem is someone hacked the web-server. Kind of funny in one way, but pretty serious and illegal on the other. My credit card number is saved somewhere on those servers...

Some people, you and me probably, will benefit from that, because they are still on. But... most people take their turns during work or class or just before dinner or before the wife comes home (sound familiar, anyone?). They won't be around to go on with their turn, especially because it won't always take 65 minutes - or another amount of time for that matter - but it will differ. It will be hard to control, I guess.

Also, when the servers are down, they don't plan on that stuff, so they probably can't plan a clockfreezer. From what I know, it would be hard to programm into the servers. Seriously though, I don't know anything about it ^^ So that's another discussion.

No... not hacked. That error message you got has occurred before, and mainly it happens because a problem with the server occurs, be it crashing or something along that affect.

Our webmaster, Lackattack, is currently looking into what caused the server instability issue of last night.
