Terminator games

Was just wondering, is it possible for a gamer who is about to lose (or have gain enuff points from killing other players) to choose to become a deadbeat and thereby will not lose any points if no one manages to kill him off within 3 turns ?

I am in this game currently and was wondering whether is it possible and if it is, isn't it an exploitation ?

Any clarifications would be appreciated.

Very good question, I do not know. I look forward to the answer to this. If it were up to me, I would have it programmed so that whoever won the game as the last man standing, get rewarded with the deadbeats points.

If you deadbeat in terminator you don't lose any points.

The goal of that style is to kill individual players, so if you aren't the one that terminates them then you don't deserve any points for it.

I heard somewhere that they are going to change this so anyone who deadbeats stays in the game, but earns no armies and takes their turn automaticaly. That way, they will stay in till they are eliminated, and you will get points for killing them.

I guess a good way to earn points is to try to kill as many players as possible (2-3 players in a 6 player game) and then deadbeat if you see urself losing. Make sure you are able to survive the 3 turns though.

I think deadbeats should just be banned period. I could care less about the points, but having to wait all the extra time for them to be kicked out of the game is frustrating. I almost didn't get the Premium Membership because of deadbeats, but I decided that I like this game and this site enough to overlook the deadbeats and racist/sexist idiots that troll the site.

I would say that is an exploitation yes but luckily, if you are about to lose it will be over within 3 rounds anyway. I wouldn't do it myself - as the saying goes: "Do onto others as you would have done onto yourself" - I hate cunts who do that on purpose so I try not to become one myself

Take a look at game 197855. Knowing she's going to lose the game, green decides to do a deadbeat. Originally, she could have won the game if not for blue and red co-operating to reduce her influence. Once she knew she is losing, she decides to do a deadbeat. Thereby preventing losing of any points.

She can succeed in doing that. So is there gonna be any changes to fix this exploitation ?
