Conquer Club

I was just thinking (you should stop reading now), that on maps like the aor's or maybe fuedal, there may be territs that have never been conquered. It's possible that some territs haven't been taken even once, in any game. Thoughts, comments, spam?

Hm, good question. There may be a few regions---but I feel like I've come across my fair share of 'deliberate board sweepers' who want to conquer every possible region (some regions like starting positions may never be conquered---or some regions may only be indirectly bombarded and never conquered).

But, aside from those impossible to conquer regions---I'm just left wondering too.

On Feudal War every territory has been taken, don't know about AOR....

Haha, only one might be Das Schloss, because there might not be any players who are A) deliberate board sweepers ánd B) know how Das Schloß works, since people in A are usually not clever enough for B

All of Iraq's loyalties? Though I guess the whole deliberate board sweeper thing would apply there. Wales? Galapagos? Oasis? Same thing I guess. Poison Rome? Route 66? Supermax? Schloß is probably the best shot, with Drug War in there too.

U.S. Senate map. I don't think anyone even plays on it...

I'm pretty sure most maps have had people conquer every terr just for fun. I know they used to do it at least...

As far as i know, no regions what so ever has ever been conquered on the elusive Random map...

There is a whole section of Supermax: Prison Riot that is hardly ever played as it starts neutral.

Nobody ever has taken Shamus on the Saint Patricks Day map.

I'm thinking that oasis is probably out because there are so many paths to the middle that people have probably conquered most of the middle territs. Iraq loyalties maybe, but I saw some noobs take al qaeda in a game I recently played so who knows. Supermax does seem like a possibility, it would have to be two teams of ambitious noobs bumbling around I guess to take all of those.

I've never played hive, are there territs on there that people don't take?

There may be, but I don't think there's actually any set neutrals on that map, other than the honey pots (w/ever they're called) that are used to cross the map, so I'm sure they've been used already.

Hive has been conquered. I've been in several games where every spot is taken.

Interesting concept we have going here.

Im sure there is a no spoils supermax game where every region of the map has been taken so i would say you can take that off the list

Every map that has had due chance to have every tert conquered has had it done. The only one I don't have confirmation for is Galapagos, cause the longest map is foggy.
