some players (myself included) would like the opportunity to make a change to our names. for various reasons dont like it etc. in the help section of the site. it says that there would be an option for this soon, and based on the assumption that it has said that for a long time now i suggest you either remove/edit it. or give players such an option. even if only for a limited time.

You do how much stress this would put on the system, right? All the logs in every game you have ever played would have to be changed to accommodate your new nickname, as well as everyone of your posts in the forum.

Some people don't use a foe list but won't play against certain players. This could make the foe list ineffective. Maybe not for a whole lot of people but for some it would.

You've been here for 10 days and don't like your name?

I do agree that we should probably remove the teaser since its unlikely that name changes are coming soon...
