So there is not advantage to your team owning a area, right? 1 player has to own it to get the bonuses?

And then basically, so your partner can get a continent, you should fortify out if possible and leave 1 army and let him kill it? If you own all of a area and he has 3 armies there from the beginning that he can't move, it is normal to kill him to own the area, or you should ALWAYS ask first?

only bonuses for areas you COMPLETELY own. team control give no bonuses.

No need to kill the armies, your partner should, but may need a reminder, move them onto your border territores to assist in the defence of the territory.

i.e. You can fortify onto your partner but not through your partner back onto you.

It is not always the smart thing to kill your partner to get a continent. You can lose more armies than it is worth. How many times have you attacked 6v1 and lost the battle.

you definitely dont want to take out his three...occasionally you may want to fort him so he can take the area, but not if it means taking out too many of your guys....it also depends on the rest of the board, the type of game and the map...so in short...dont kill his three for an area, unless your at the stage of the game where there are tons of armies and a 3 is irrelevant

I didn't know he could fortify onto me. I knew he could deploy. All right, well I shall put another doubles game in my que!
