Conquer Club

.Every game now ends up in a "dice" bitch-fest.
I think the "dice" are random. I also think that the system was better before. Either way, for a few months now things are just continuing to degrade - in game - to the point where it's just not very fun. This observation goes for all aspects of the competition 'round here. Even clan wars are degrading into a "dice" bitch-fest.
.It also feels like the inmates are running the asylum, as it were, way too much.
I think community involvement is important and necessary for positive growth. I also think that at some point the admin just need to put their foot down and say no, for various reasons, to a few proposals, complaints, maps, threads and users (etc.). This site functions best as a pseudo-democracy-as its been, but CC is losing its luster fast while the boss losing control.
.Multis are not funny, entertaining or under control, at all; despite all the work of the multi-hunters...they just can't keep up. I wonder how many games involve a multi account? Having your "100th multi busted" is not a badge of honor, its an abuse, ridiculous and cheapens the site as a whole.
.The site is meant for adults. Lots of things are offensive to people for personal reasons. Many users just don't get along with other users. No one likes all the rules or they think they shouldn't or don't apply to them. If this is the case then go away and find somewhere else to enjoy yourself please. The foe feature is the most under-used feature of the site...just move on about your business; there is no need to make most things around here that irritate you (most of us) a big deal, it really just makes you look like an attention seeker. If you don't like it that much just go away. I can't fathom why so many users that profess to hate CC, stick around just to make sure everyone knows how they feel, what a waste of time.

It's fine to complain every once in awhile... maybe you've just had a bad streak or are in a sour mood. That's cool.



But those of you who continue to complain and blame the dice for all your woes, posting numerous times about how your dice suck...
please, just do us all a favor and either shut the f*ck up or leave.

That's no joke. Shut up or go, because no one wants to see you cry, except the other 12 year-olds who think they'd be Conqueror if not for their consistent, inexplicably poor dice.

I feel bad about the comments of others, and won't go into he she she sad stuff, but sometimes people also need to vent. I don't agree with public displays of dice hate and blaming, but there's not a lot anyone can do about it. I think it would be best if the site just had an unwritten rule saying no one should talk about the dice on the public forums to prevent this sort of thing.

if people just kept to the one dice thread, i'd have no problem with it.

Actually no, I have enjoyed the Nemesis challenge and for the most part it has been very competitive and cordial. I have had these thoughts (among others) stewing for awhile. I enjoy my time on CC, I won't be leaving any time soon sorry to say . I understand the need to vent ^^^^^.


Maybe we should have a forum dedicated to nothing but the dice (all things dice), that way you don't have to wade through it if you choose not to....

A separate forum would definitely be a good thing. I doubt it will ever be implemented though.

The timing does seem a bit intriguing tho, doesn't it?
I guess I just feel that most people are ok with dices being bad some times, but the comments always start when it reaches a boiling point and then you just can't hold back from the flow of anger within

I"ll agree with this.

I try not to bitch in chat, but my brain is working overtime coming up with insults for the dice. It seems that some days I just can't beat that 3 with my stack of 15. I don't mention it in chat because we've all been there.

I complain about the dice in the game chat when I do find it to be bad but I'm just the type of person to be highly reactant to stuff. I'm also pretty accepting when others say their dice is bad looking at their point of view and actually agreeing that the dice did some buttrape.

I agree, it seems every game is the fault of the die anymore. Sure, I mention when my dice are in a downhill struggle, but I don't constantly complain. I may make 1 comment, if it's persistent for multiple rounds. However, I also mention when my dice seem hot. Without the dice complaints, I'm afraid it would just be something else.

I heart revenge ratings. They show up a week later and you go wtf?

Personally i rarely complain about the dice unless things are going really bad or i am frustrated with something from real life. Other than that when i have noticeably bad dice i say something to the extent of went 0-10 last 2 rounds looks like gg...not because im mad about it, for i will surely get good dice in the future but as more of a statement to say this could have been a better game but dice have given you a huge advantage. Likewise i dont really care about when my opponents do the same. Also most times i get really good dice to win a game i say something about the fact that my dice were really good.

To be honest, i think the only part of the site im not sick of right now is the actual game. The dice and other variants of the gameplay dont bother me at all, because i know they happen to everyone else too (see: This thread + 1,000s of other dice threads...).

What im hating the most nowadays are the forums and about 80% of the posters in them. It basically consists of a small group of morons who post before they actual put a thought together, follow by the so-called "forum veterans" who feel the need to flex their internet muscles for the community to see. Using the poof example, i could in no circumstance EVER see myself get so worked up over that issue. Holy crap, he used a dirty word that is actually understood without looking it up by about 5% of the site.

The f*ck avatars: Whatever, i understand the incocnsistency of having the word, either always allow or dont. But by Owen putting it in his avatar, instead of a protest he meant to pose, it looks more like he went against his own moral values and took the path of the smaller individual, getting into a childish "Ill show you" match. Never had a problem with owen, just think there were better ways to go about it, such as a simple foe or just plain ignoring it.

Which is what i advise to the people that read this: Learn to ignore things. It really isnt that hard to forget something you see on the internet, thats why there are millions of other URLs for you to take your mind off it...

Reading your post makes me think I need to clarify a little. My issue with the f*ck avatar (and the rest for that matter) is not the avatar itself. I could care less about that, its the reaction/attention that, the poof, et. al. get. This was not meant to be a dice bitch thread either.
