TIME LIMIT

Postby Dunk90 on Sun Feb 11, 2007 11:01 pm

Does anyone else think that 24 hours is way too long to take a turn.? I would like some other players input on this. Just seems like if they shortened the time a little games wouldn't be so freakin' long and boring when a player doesn't show up for a full day. -Chris

I think 24 hrs is too long IF you have 6 players. Example: 3 people can skip there turn = three long days. I think 4 player games are more tollerable in case of skips.

honestly, money tight at the moment, and it's not a priority. I do have every intention of buying premium, but as I've said in the past, I'd like to earn some stripes first. After all I'm not going to make any more money playing risk all day, so it's off to work.

The time limit doesn't bother me. Actually, I like the 24 hour time limit. True, deadbeats and turn skippers make games drag on for what seems like forever, but there are people on this site that may only be able to log on at certain points during the day or can only be online for so long.

Because of that, I support the time limit.

I finished a game in an hour once, so it's possible to have some very fast games.

the 24 hour limit is fine with me and others that only get one chance a day to take their turns. if it was any shorter, me and many others would miss turns all the time.

You have been a member of the site for 5 days. some games move along faster than others. It is meant for the casual gamer.

I think there should be a counter (if there isn't already) that keeps track of your total missed turns. Once a player reaches so many then they should be banned. Exceptions being that if the player notifies the rest of the combatants in the game that they will be gone and will miss a couple of turns.

Can't wait for the speed games mentioned above. I'm getting a little frustrated with waiting 3 days only to lose 7 armies against 1

perhaps if you are sitting around on your computer all day because you dont have a job. But I work all day, so I like the 24hour delay. I get home from work and unwind doing this. It is nice to know that people weren't all waiting for me. If there were less than a 24 hour day people would get mad to me because they would have to wait around for me to get off of work.

There are realtime games always starting... if you dont like waiting go find one or start your own.
