Jamie, this thread is a reference to that Middle Earth map:

Helms Deep is a castle/fortress that was the site of a significant battle at the end of the third age of middle earth. This battle was featured in the movie Lord Of The Rings, based on one of the best selling, most widely read fiction works of all time. The map of the same name is represented here with all the significant territories included.

As mentioned in the introduction of latter editions of LOTR:
There are two types of people in the world: Those who have read Lord Of The Rings, and those who have yet to read Lord Of The Rings

You clearly fall into the latter group.

I see what you did there, Captain Crash. Well played.

But you weren't thorough enough.

For the Harry Potter fans in the audience, King of Moria's name may need some explanation.

Moria is the mine through which the Fellowship passed (first book, first movie). Moria was once a very prosperous mithril mine for the Dwarves, but recently it had been occupied by a sh*tload of goblins and a fearsome Balrog, relic of the mythical First Age.

By using the name 'King of Moria', the player is asserting his dominion over a particularly hazardous territory, thus affirming his manhood.

Further reading available in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Honest.

Jackary is the supreme ruler over the universe!

 Figure out the origins of this "Jackary" and you win the lottery.

(Certain restrictions apply. Family and Friends not eligible for this contest. All other legal mumbo jumbo applies as long as it favors

Jackary and not you. Legal fees will be awarded to the prevailing party should there be a dispute as long as the prevailing party is Jackary.) :-^

I think you'd be hard-pressed to find anything Tolkien related in any Harry Potter book!

Harry Potter had as much to do with the defense of Helm's
Deep, as I did in dismantling the Iron Curtain, bringing down
the Berlin Wall, or getting the most excellent Arnold
Swarzenegger elected Gov. of Californication!

What I find interesting...

On the ME map, there is a gap in the Misty Mountains
right where you'd expect to find the gates to Moria.
Why they choose to depict Moria as such is beyond me.
But there exists no such gap in the true map of ME.

And another thing. The territory just north of Mordor
named, Ered Lithui? Ered Lithui is actually the name of
the mountain range that forms the northern border of
Mordor, not the adjacent terrain north of it. I mean Ered
itself means "mountain" in Noldor!

There's more, and I could go on, but I actually like the ME
map and have enjoyed the games I've played on it.

So Ive decided what Im gonna do now.
So Im packing my bags for the misty mountains
Where the spirits go now,
Over the hills where the spirits fly, ooh, I really dont know.

By the way...

In case you were wondering...and i know you were...

Ered Lithui translates into Ash Mountain, in Noldor, which is the
language of the High Elves such as Elrond, Gil-galad, Arwen etc.

Please don't ask me why they're called High Elves. I know why,
but the answer is long, and requires knowledge of the Silmarillion - another book you WILL NOT find any mention of Harry Potter!

(Of course, if you do inquire, I'd be forced to answer  )
