This has to be a record. Has anyone ever had a worse drop? Please post.

Guaranteed, someone has had worse. I mean, you got to go first. You had a better than 50/50 shot to reduce your opponent to an initial deploy of only 4.

I have seen far worse drops...like were it was like that and he the player with the 11 got to go first...

You must always get the worst drops. If you had fair drops you would be a general. You're an awesome player, it sucks that luck keeps you down all the time. Will you teach me how to play.

its 1v1, there have been many worse. Besides, that drop doesnt matter, first turn and dice will decide that game. If you break both his bonuses from chicago, all of a sudden you have a huge advantage, just like everyone else going first in 1v1.

ps - I actually like 1v1, play it a ton, but it's still almost all luck

I remember awhile back seeing someone drop on New Worlds all the Indian Homelands in a 1v1, and the opponent got all the European homelands. Can't recall who it was.

I've seen a guy drop Europe on classic in 1v1.

I've seen a guy drop Asia AND Europe and actually dropped 7s on all the borders

Some maps are beasts in 1vs1, and you learn to avoid 'em. I haven't played any 1vs1 on Great Lakes, but maybe it is one of 'em.

1v1 on AoM. My opponent went first and dropped 25. Pretty confident that's going to be tough to top.

Personally I think pearl harbor is the most likely to give an insanely unfair drop

Generally, those midsized maps are the worst, because the percentage of the advantage in going first is the most. On the smaller maps its not as much and ironically if the map is big enough, the advantage is often surpassed by sheer volume as well.

This is the game I was going to quote, I can't think of a map where it could be more one sided.

I was thumbing through some Pearl Harbor, but the highest I found was 21.

Any time I see someone moan about getting an unfair drop in a 1v1, I'll toss out that old chestnut.

Going first means nothing. I barely even broke his bonus of 4, still leaving the 2. Second turn I couldn't break either. You're pretty stuck on the first turn but a drop like that isn't about first turn its about making it nearly impossible to gain an advantage at any point in the game.

Well that wins pretty easily. One of many reasons I avoid "Age of" maps

well most of the "age of" maps have no real unfair drops as they everyone starts with basically the same thing...at least in terms of bonuses. I too dont like those maps but its because they aren't fun and i dont know them so if that is your reason i agree.

He had 4 in the Native lands.

You're right. Having a 56% chance to reduce the guy to a deploy SMALLER than the one you got is absolutely irrelevant.
